Goddess of Victory: Nikke announces Persona crossover for August!
Goddess of Victory: Nikke is teaming up with Persona 3, 4, and 5 for a major crossover launching August 13.
Fans of Goddess of Victory: Nikke will soon have a chance to experience a crossover with one of gaming's most popular RPG franchises. Shift Up has officially confirmed that a Persona collaboration is coming to the game on August 13. Rather than focusing on just one Persona title, the event will bring elements from several of the mainline games released during the series' modern 3D era.
The collaboration was first teased during a Goddess of Victory: Nikke livestream on June 27. At the time, Shift Up did not reveal many details. The developer only confirmed that the event would be connected to the ongoing celebrations for Persona's 30th anniversary.
Now, the crossover has an official release date. Shift Up has announced that the Persona event will begin on August 13 and will be available to players on both PC and mobile devices.
Alongside the announcement, Shift Up released new promotional artwork featuring the game's Counters characters. The artwork uses a three-color design inspired by some existing Persona merchandise. It features characters Makoto, Yu and Ren, representing the different generations of Persona games that will be connected to the collaboration.
Shift Up has also promised players a special gift when the event begins. However, the developer has not yet revealed exactly what that reward will be.
One of the more interesting details is that the crossover will include its own storyline. This is not particularly unusual for Goddess of Victory: Nikke, as the game has previously used crossover events to offer more than just costumes or other cosmetic items. Players can generally expect special stories and activities alongside the main collaboration content.
There are still plenty of unanswered questions, though. Shift Up has not announced the full list of characters, rewards or other content that will be included in the event. Based on the developer's previous approach to Nikke collaborations, more details may not arrive until the event is closer to launch or even goes live.
That means players could potentially see new playable characters, special bosses, costumes and other limited-time rewards connected to Persona. For now, none of those features have been officially confirmed.
The crossover is also notable because it covers multiple Persona games rather than focusing on just one. A recent Persona collaboration with Call of Duty: Mobile, for example, centered specifically on Persona 5 Royal and its Phantom Thieves.
The wider approach makes sense given the way Atlus has been celebrating Persona's 30th anniversary. The anniversary has been marked with a large number of projects and promotions, including new merchandise, restaurant collaborations and special events. The celebrations recently reached another major point during the June 2026 Xbox Games Showcase, where Atlus announced a release date for Persona 4 Revival and revealed Persona 6.
The timing of the Nikke collaboration is also interesting. Like many successful gacha games, Goddess of Victory: Nikke regularly introduces limited-time events and new content to keep players coming back. Because these collaborations usually run for a limited period, the Persona event will probably have ended well before Persona 4 Revival launches on February 18.
As for Persona 6, there is still no official release window. The game was recently revealed, but Atlus has not said when it will launch. Industry leaker NateTheHate has suggested that late 2027 could be possible, although that information has not been confirmed by Atlus.
For now, Persona fans have plenty to look forward to. The Goddess of Victory: Nikke crossover begins August 13, and with Persona's actual 30th anniversary arriving on September 20, there could still be more collaborations and announcements on the way.
