Scopely has officially revealed Pokémon GO: Twilight Trails, the mobile title's upcoming fall season running from September 8 through December 1. The announcement comes directly on the heels of the Forever Forward 10th-anniversary summer season, which celebrated a decade of gameplay with major events like GO Fest Global and the Times Square debut of Mega Mewtwo X and Y. Now, the developers are shifting focus to fall with fresh Paldean additions, dynamic raid bosses, and major progression rewards.

The upcoming season officially introduces Maschiff and its evolved form Mabosstiff, both originally discovered in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Beyond wild encounters, the raid and battle rotation is receiving a significant overhaul. Mega Staraptor and Mega Chandelure will make their debuts in Mega Raids, beginning with the seasonal Mega Squads event. Meanwhile, Max Battles will introduce Dynamax versions of Rhyhorn, Sneasel, Sizzlipede, and the Lake Guardians trio—Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf.

Scopely also outlined the event schedule for the coming months, locking in three upcoming Community Day dates. Players can mark their calendars for a Community Day Classic on September 12, followed by standard Community Days on October 12 and November 21. Alongside these events, the seasonal GO Pass will feature a rotating selection of high-tier Legendaries for players reaching Rank 100, highlighting Kyogre, Groudon, and Latios across the three-month period. Advancing through the pass will also unlock passive perks like boosted XP, doubled Daily Adventure Incense durations, and higher gift limits.

In addition to scheduled content, players have noticed a quiet quality-of-life upgrade rolling out across the user interface. A new quick-appraisal button has begun appearing on individual Pokémon screens, allowing Trainers to check IV stats instantly without needing to open the sub-menu first. While Scopely has yet to formally announce the feature, the streamlined appraisal system is already receiving widespread praise from the community as the game prepares for the launch of Twilight Trails on September 8.
