Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, offering a fresh look at the planetary Weapons that Cloud and his allies will confront in the final chapter of the remake trilogy. Launched in 2020, the three part project reimagines the story of the 1997 classic while introducing major narrative changes.

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is set for launch in spring 2027. Unlike Remake and Rebirth, which were timed PlayStation exclusives, Square Enix confirmed that the final entry will launch simultaneously across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The trailer opens with Shinra President Rufus Shinra addressing the impending threat of Meteor and the awakened Weapons. While created as the planet's defensive guardians, these massive entities view humanity as a threat, putting every living creature in danger.
