Diablo 4 Season 14 still has a few weeks left before its expected conclusion on September 15, 2026, but the current meta appears to be firmly established. With the best Pit and Tower runs belonging to Druid players, the class has emerged as the clear standout of the season.

Every Diablo 4 season brings significant balance changes designed to shake up the game's meta. This is particularly important for players who return every season, as keeping the classes competitive and distinct gives them a reason to experiment with different builds and playstyles. While Blizzard does not always manage to create an even playing field, Season 14 has produced a dramatic resurgence for the Druid.

According to the unofficial Pit and Tower leaderboards from Helltides, Druids currently hold the fastest runs across both endgame activities. The best Druid has cleared a Tier 150 Pit in just 1 minute and 52 seconds, while the fastest Tower run was completed in 1 minute and 51 seconds. No other class comes remotely close to those times.

The Sorcerer currently has the second-fastest Pit run at 6 minutes and 11 seconds, meaning the Druid's best time is more than four minutes faster. The gap is similarly substantial in the Tower, where the quickest non-Druid run belongs to a Barbarian at 6 minutes and 25 seconds.

The Druid's position represents a major turnaround from Season 13. During the previous season, the class ranked second-to-last in the Pit rankings, with the seventh-fastest Tier 150 clear among the game's classes, ahead of only the Paladin. Its strongest historical performances came in Seasons 7 and 10, when it ranked as the second-best class.

There are still several weeks remaining in Season 14, meaning another class could theoretically overtake the Druid before September 15. However, the enormous difference between the Druid's fastest runs and those of every other class makes that increasingly unlikely. With Blizzard already looking ahead to Season 15, major balance changes that could dramatically alter the current standings also seem unlikely.

Interestingly, the Rogue initially appeared to be heading toward another dominant season. After topping the leaderboards in Season 13, the class looked capable of repeating that performance in Season 14. That changed after Blizzard issued a fix in late July to address an issue that allowed Rogue players to gain what was effectively infinite damage.

Since that fix, Rogue has fallen considerably and currently sits fifth in both the Pit and Tower rankings. Meanwhile, the Druid has gone from one of the weakest options in Season 13 to the undisputed class to beat in Season 14.

With the season's end approaching, Druid players have little reason to complain. Unless Blizzard makes an unexpected change, Season 14 looks increasingly likely to belong to the Druid.
