Nintendo has released Version 11.3.0 for Splatoon 3, bringing another round of multiplayer balance changes alongside a new weapon connected to the recently released Splatoon Raiders.

The update became available on August 19, 2026, for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The latest patch continues Nintendo's focus on multiplayer balance while adding new content for players who also own Splatoon Raiders.

The most notable addition is the Plastic Bottle Shot Replica, a new weapon that shares the same specifications as the Tentatek Splattershot.

The weapon can be obtained through the lobby terminal by players who have cleared the main story of Splatoon Raiders on the same system. The Splatoon 3 player profile must also match the profile associated with the completed Splatoon Raiders save data.

Several existing weapons have also received adjustments.
The Carbon Roller, Carbon Roller Deco, and Carbon Roller ANG L have received improvements to the damage falloff of their vertical swings, allowing them to deal 50 or 100 damage from greater distances. Their maximum movement speed while inking forward has also been increased by approximately 5 percent.

The Tri Slosher has received a reduction of approximately 9 percent to the damaging area of its explosions, while the distance traveled by its ink fists has been increased by roughly 9 percent.

The Trizooka has also been improved, with projectile speed increased by approximately 13 percent without changing the maximum travel distance.

The Ink Vac has received the opposite treatment, with the amount of opposing ink that can be absorbed reduced by approximately 9 percent.

Special weapon requirements have also been adjusted for several weapons. The Splattershot Pro FRZ N now requires 180 points instead of 190, while the Custom Hydra Splatling requirement has been reduced from 200 to 190. The Inkline Tri Stringer now requires 200 points instead of 190.

According to Nintendo, the latest changes are intended to make certain weapons less effective at maintaining constant pressure or safely keeping Splat Zones under control. Other adjustments have been designed to strengthen individual weapon characteristics and make certain options easier to use.

The update continues the multiplayer balancing process that has been taking place throughout 2026. Nintendo has indicated that another upcoming update will also focus on multiplayer balance, suggesting that further weapon adjustments could be introduced as additional battle data is collected.

With Splatoon Raiders now available on Nintendo Switch 2, the new crossover weapon also provides an additional incentive for players who own both games to explore the two titles together.
