Overwatch has launched Season 4, titled Heroes of Busan, as part of the ongoing Reign of Talon story. Arriving during the decade milestone for the franchise, the update brings a new playable character, reworked map layouts, and changes to reward progression.

Battle Pass changes and reward pathsThe Season 4 update introduces a customizable Battle Pass designed to give players control over their unlock choices. Players can choose which Legendary skin path to focus on first. In addition, Premium Battle Pass holders gain a single Tier Hack option per season, allowing them to trade an eligible Legendary reward for a cosmetic from the seasonal Swap Pool.

The initial reward selection includes:- Raijin Ashe- Mob Boss Junker Queen- Cardboard Reinhardt- Sakura Lifeweaver- Crustacean Wrecking Ball

A mid-season update will also add the Unvaulted Pass, which lets players earn rewards from past Battle Passes they previously purchased but did not complete.
The Premium Battle Pass offers several Legendary skins based on the MEKA squad, including:- Cyber Chic Moira- Cyber Champ Brigitte- Cyber Cowboy Cassidy- Cyber Mechanic D.Va- Cyber Raptor Pharah
Earned Mythic Prisms can also be used to unlock a new Mythic Skin for Genji and a Mythic Weapon for Sojourn.

New Tank hero D.Mon
The main addition to the roster is D.Mon, a new Tank hero from the MEKA squad. Her equipment blends defensive protection with close range and distant combat options. She utilizes a Plasma Barrier for protection, a Plasma Saber for melee combat, and a Fusion Repeater for ranged attacks.
Map revisions
Three existing maps have received updates reflecting damage from Talon and Junker attacks. Busan, Paraiso, and Eichenwalde feature modified visuals alongside new paths and routes that alter how players move through matches.
