However, a new round of leaks suggests that Chapter 7 Season 4 will feature a major theme centered around classic video game franchises. Well known leakers ShiinaBR and HYPEX recently dug into encrypted files inside the game's latest update, claiming to find strong evidence that the upcoming season will focus heavily on gaming icons.

According to these findings, players will soon begin seeing in-game teaser posters featuring Sonic the Hedgehog appearing across the Battle Royale island. When the new season arrives, it is rumored to bring an extensive lineup of classic video game crossovers. Datamined files list upcoming content related to major properties, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Pac-Man, Mega Man, Tetris, and Persona, alongside several other unannounced franchises. While it remains unclear exactly how every property will be integrated, fans can likely expect themed character skins in the next Battle Pass, special cosmetic items, and map locations designed after these classic titles.

As things currently stand, Chapter 7 Season 3 is set to end on August 19. While there will likely be the usual server downtime following the end of the season, Chapter 7 Season 4 should launch on the same day.
