ARC Raiders has received another live update, adding new content to the Phantom Targets event while introducing a major change to how map conditions are scheduled.

The update arrives as players continue waiting for the much larger Frozen Trail expansion. Embark has continued supporting ARC Raiders with smaller live service updates containing events, cosmetics, gameplay improvements, and bug fixes.

Following the game's successful launch in October 2025, Embark decided to move away from its previous schedule of major monthly content releases. The studio explained that maintaining that pace had become unsustainable because of the pressure involved in delivering substantial updates every month.

Instead, major content releases are now being planned less frequently, with two significant updates expected each year. A dedicated live team is continuing to provide smaller additions between those major releases.

One of the most important changes in the latest update concerns map conditions. Previously, all players were placed on a single global schedule, meaning certain conditions could occur at inconvenient times depending on a player's region.

This could result in players missing limited time conditions such as the recent Hurricane storm because they were unable to log in during the specific global window.

The system is now being changed to regional scheduling. Peak hours for map conditions will be adjusted according to regional player activity, allowing conditions to appear at more practical times for different player groups.The Phantom Targets event is also entering its second phase. The ongoing investigation follows Shani as mysterious signals continue to appear throughout the world.

Newly appearing Wasps have reportedly begun displaying unusual behavior and are gathering around a specific location. Players will be tasked with helping Shani investigate the phenomenon and discovering what is waiting at the destination.

The new event chapter will also provide the Anomalia Outfit as one of its potential rewards.
Embark has additionally used the update to provide another update on fair play and anti cheat efforts. The studio has clarified that reports involving third party software and potential unfair advantages will continue to be investigated at both the gameplay and account levels.

Players have also been warned against downloading unofficial or unverified software, as such programs can potentially expose personal information in addition to creating unfair advantages.
Further improvements are being made to the Anybrain and Denuvo Anti Cheat systems, with action already being taken against a large number of accounts identified as using cheating software.

Attention will soon shift toward Frozen Trail, which is currently scheduled to launch on October 8. Embark has confirmed that the upcoming winter themed map will be the largest map released for ARC Raiders so far.

Frozen Trail will also introduce a new high level challenge, additional ARC enemies, an overhaul of the Skill Tree, a new progression system, and an expanded Raider Den known as the Outpost.
