The entire state of Leonida, including Vice City and its surrounding counties, has allegedly leaked online for Grand Theft Auto 6. Combined with the recent GTA 6 gameplay leak from the same source, the reports suggest that Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive could have a serious problem on their hands, assuming the material is legitimate. Both companies have reportedly been issuing takedown requests against posts containing the leaked gameplay and map, potentially indicating that the material came from an older build of Grand Theft Auto 6.

However, there is reason to approach the leak with caution. The person behind the alleged leaks has reportedly been asking people to provide cryptocurrency support in exchange for continued information.

Even if the leaked material is genuine, fans should avoid sending money, as there is always a possibility of a scam being involved. GTA 6 is one of the biggest targets for scammers, and if the leaks are legitimate, Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive will likely take action against the source. The last major individual accused of breaching Rockstar's security ultimately ended up in custody.

According to the reportedly leaked map, Grand Theft Auto 6's world appears to follow a structure similar to Grand Theft Auto 5, while also bearing similarities to the fan-made mapping projects that have attempted to predict the game's layout.

It would therefore not be surprising if the map was based on existing fan speculation, although the reported takedowns from Rockstar and Take-Two could suggest that there is more to the leak.

The map shows Vice Dale County and Vice City occupying a substantial portion of Leonida, with towns and other locations stretching toward the Leonida Strats, Mariana County and several other regions.

Swamps, gulfs and islands are also visible, including an area identified as Dalton Island.Looking at the map from north to south, players will apparently be able to explore Lummox County, Kelly County, Leonard County, Vice Dale County and Mariana County.

Other notable areas include the Leonida Strats and the Gulf of Leonida. However, a map alone does not necessarily indicate how large the game will feel in practice. 
Traveling between the Leonida Strats and Lummox County could potentially take a considerable amount of time, although it is equally possible that players could cross the entire map relatively quickly. Even if the leaked map is legitimate, there is still plenty about GTA 6 that remains unknown.

Fans may not have to wait much longer for official information, however, with the upcoming Netflix Extended Look potentially providing some answers. Scheduled for August 27 at 3 PM ET, the presentation will showcase an extended look at Grand Theft Auto 6, with the possibility of additional footage being included.

It remains unclear whether the presentation is connected to the alleged gameplay and map leaks, particularly if the leaked footage originates from an older build, but the timing is certainly notable.

For now, fans should treat the leaked material with caution and wait for Rockstar Games to officially reveal more about Grand Theft Auto 6.
