Fortnite's current LEGO Battle Pass has received another major extension, meaning players will have to wait longer before a new LEGO Pass becomes available.

The Soaring Skies LEGO Pass was originally scheduled to end on September 2, but Epic Games has now moved its expiration date to October 31, 2026. The extension adds nearly two additional months to the current pass and could make it the longest running LEGO Pass since the feature was introduced.

Soaring Skies launched on April 16 during Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2. When it finally ends, assuming no further delays, the pass will have remained available for 198 days.

The LEGO Battle Pass system was introduced in May 2024 alongside Fortnite's Star Wars collaboration. Like Fortnite's other Battle Passes, the LEGO version provides players with a collection of themed rewards. For 1,200 V Bucks, players can unlock four pages featuring LEGO structures, minifigure skins, loading screens, banner icons, emotes, and other cosmetics.

Epic Games has released 10 LEGO Passes since the feature debuted, but recent extensions have become increasingly common. The previous Palm Paradise Pass was extended twice, first moving its end date from November 11 to November 29, 2025, before being pushed back again to December 11.

The Ninjago LEGO Pass was also extended, with its original April 1 ending date eventually moved to April 16.
The latest extension has understandably raised questions among LEGO Fortnite players about the future of the mode. Some fans believe the repeated delays could indicate that Epic Games is gradually reducing its support for LEGO Fortnite.

Those concerns come as Epic prepares to discontinue several other Fortnite experiences later this year, including Ballistic, Rocket Racing, and Festival Battle Stage.

Despite the decline from its enormous peak, LEGO Fortnite still maintains a significant player base. The mode currently has around 13,600 players, making it the 10th most popular Fortnite mode at the time of writing. Its current audience is considerably smaller than its peak concurrent player count of approximately 2.4 million.

For now, players will have to wait until October 31 before the Soaring Skies LEGO Pass concludes. Unless Epic extends it again, that date should finally mark the arrival of a new set of LEGO themed rewards.
