Palworld's latest patch makes boss battles more reliable!
Palworld update 1.0.2 resolves key multiplayer bugs and server crashes, bringing stability to boss encounters like Panthalus and Victor & Shadowbeak.
Pocketpair has released Palworld update 1.0.2, delivering another round of fixes aimed at improving the game's multiplayer experience. Since the successful 1.0 launch brought millions of new players into the game, the developer has been working to resolve bugs affecting gameplay, with boss encounters being one of the biggest priorities. One of the update's most significant fixes targets the Victor & Shadowbeak tower boss fight. In multiplayer sessions, the boss could previously disappear after using its teleportation attack, preventing players from finishing the encounter. The issue has now been resolved, allowing the fight to continue as intended.
Another major fix focuses on Panthalus, the massive whale-like boss. Players on dedicated servers had reported crashes and unexpected disconnects when engaging the creature. According to the latest patch, those stability issues have now been addressed, making the encounter much more reliable during multiplayer sessions.
The update also fixes a visual bug involving the World Tree, where terrain could display incorrectly if another player had already entered the area. In addition, Pocketpair resolved a lighting issue affecting defeated players who were waiting to respawn after the host defeated the game's final boss.
Beyond boss encounters, update 1.0.2 includes several smaller improvements across the game. Players can now rebind the "Attack that enemy!" command, giving them more flexibility when directing their Pals during combat. The patch also fixes various display issues, achievement-related bugs, and dialogue problems that could leave players temporarily unable to progress.
While the update doesn't introduce any new gameplay content, it continues Pocketpair's efforts to improve stability and polish following Palworld's successful full release. With more patches expected in the coming weeks, the developer appears focused on addressing community feedback while refining the overall multiplayer experience.
